600 Cars, 25,000 Spectators, One Weekend

Old Town Motorama Returns to Clovis May 15–17

Old Town Motorama returns Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 17, 2026, bringing one of California’s largest downtown hot rod gatherings back to the streets of Old Town Clovis.

Produced by Hot Rod Coalition, a Central California event group known for hosting some of the largest hot rod gatherings between Bakersfield and the Bay Area, Motorama has grown into a flagship weekend for builders, enthusiasts, and industry partners across the region.

Presented by title sponsor O’Reilly Auto Parts, the three day experience transforms Old Town Clovis into a full scale celebration of hot rod culture, blending classic vehicles, industry builders, live entertainment, and thousands of spectators into one unforgettable weekend.

Saturday’s main event fills Pollasky Avenue from 3rd Street through 8th Street, turning the historic downtown corridor into a living showcase of automotive craftsmanship. With an expected car count exceeding 600 vehicles, Old Town Motorama continues to rank among the largest and most dynamic downtown car shows anywhere in California.

Attendance numbers reinforce the event’s momentum. In 2025, more than 25,000 spectators packed Old Town between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., making Motorama the second largest event hosted in Old Town Clovis. That turnout reflects the strength of the partnerships, thoughtful planning, and deep community support that continue to fuel the event’s growth.

The weekend begins Friday night with the official kickoff gathering at Crow & Wolf Brewing Co. Participants and spectators connect with friends, vendors, sponsors, and food trucks from Fresno Street Eats in a relaxed setting that sets the tone for the weekend ahead.

Saturday is where the event fully comes alive. The streets are filled with pre 1975 classic vehicles, along with a limited number of approved special interest builds. Live music flows throughout downtown, an invitational motorcycle show adds another dimension to the experience, and a vintage drag race display brings historical context to the event.

Big rigs anchor the end caps, premium vendors line the streets, and some of the most respected hot rod shops in the region are on full display.

One of the defining strengths of Old Town Motorama is the presence of builders and industry shops. Upholstery specialists, engine builders, fabrication shops, and custom hot rod businesses are not tucked away, they are front and center. For enthusiasts and future customers alike, this creates real interaction and real opportunity. It is one of the reasons Motorama continues to attract strong support from within the industry.

Awards include Top 75 selections, custom jacket awards, sponsor picks, hot rodder tributes, and several unique Motorama only recognitions that celebrate craftsmanship, creativity, and the culture behind the builds.

Hot Rod Coalition merchandise will also be available throughout the event, giving attendees another way to support and represent the brand behind the weekend.

Sunday closes the event with surprise garage and shop tours, offering participants a behind the scenes look at the places where the work happens and the relationships behind the scene are built.

What truly separates Old Town Motorama is how much energy is packed into Saturday alone. Every block is active, every intersection has purpose, and there is always something happening throughout the downtown district.

“This isn’t a sit back and watch type of show,” said Hot Rod Coalition founder Anthony Granata. “Every block is active, every intersection has purpose, and the entire downtown becomes a living celebration of hot rod culture.”

Old Town Motorama continues to prove what is possible when passionate builders, strong sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and a supportive city come together to celebrate the culture that drives the hot rod community forward.

For builders, spectators, and fans of classic American iron, Old Town Clovis will once again become the place to be.
