A Rare Opening with Hot Rod Coalition

Every once in a while, a spot opens up inside the Hot Rod Coalition crew. This is one of those moments.

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the team that helps bring our events to life. From Rods on the Bluff to some of the largest car gatherings in the Central Valley, this role helps make sure everything is set up right, runs smoothly, and gets packed up when the day is done.

This is a hands on position. You will help with event setup and teardown, work in different areas during events like the apparel booth, food booth, and spectator gate, and jump in wherever needed to keep things moving. Some days you will be working alongside the team, other times you will be working independently making sure everything is ready before the crowds arrive.

For Rods on the Bluff, the typical schedule is helping with setup on Thursday evening and then working the event from about 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. During our larger weekend events, it is common to work full days in the 10 to 12 hour range.

This role works closely with leadership and gives you a real look behind the scenes at how these events are built and run. Your ideas and input matter, and you will quickly learn the ins and outs of the operation.

This job probably will not make you rich, but it is a great way to earn some extra side money while being part of the car community and helping create events that bring thousands of people together.

We also compensate for meetings, prep work, and errands that support the events.

There are additional opportunities for hours by representing Hot Rod Coalition at local community events by setting up and running our apparel booth. If you are comfortable driving a truck and trailer, even more opportunities may open up.

This is a part time, seasonal opportunity. Our busiest months are April, May, early June, and then September and October.

This could be a great fit for someone who already has a full time job but has the flexibility to help during events and key weekends.
