Cars, Coffee, & Camaraderie: The Pharoahs of Clovis Way

Nearly every Saturday morning in Fresno, before the day fills up with errands and commitments, something simple and really special takes place. The Pharoahs of Clovis Car Club gather at the Frappe House for a laid back Cars and Coffee that is all about people, not pressure.

There is no judging, no trophies, and no expectations. Just a parking lot filled with hot rods, classics, customs, cruisers, and projects at every stage, parked next to one another with owners standing around talking cars and catching up on life. It is the kind of environment where you can show up exactly as you are and feel welcome.

Inside the Frappe House, you will find great coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches that make it easy to settle in and enjoy the morning. Outside, the Pharoahs take care of the car crowd with donuts and coffee, creating a relaxed and welcoming space where conversations start easily and often last longer than planned.

What makes this Cars and Coffee special is its consistency and heart. Nearly every week, the same familiar faces show up, along with new ones who heard about it through a friend or just happened to drive by. Car clubs, solo builders, first timers, and longtime enthusiasts all mix together, sharing stories, tips, and appreciation for each other’s rides.

This is what car culture is supposed to feel like. No ego, no barriers, just a shared passion and a sense of community. Events like this are the backbone of our local scene and a reminder that the best moments often happen in simple settings, with good people and good conversation.

At Hot Rod Coalition, this is exactly the kind of culture we love to support and highlight. Keep reading the HRC newsletter and be sure to check our website for upcoming events, community spotlights, and everything we have coming up next. We will see you out there on a Saturday morning.
